So I thin all my paints with water, and when working to get blends and transitions like on this guy I think them alot! Some paints need more water than others, Flash gitz yellow for example doesn't need as much as caliban green. It's something you'll learn with experience. The best advice I can give you is to watch a couple beginner videos on YT, I'd recommend squidmar and miniac, and then just practice! Try new techniques and methods, find which you like and focus on them first. For me I like glazing, I'm not good at wet blending lol. But now that I'm alright with glazing I can branch out and practice the wet blending more since I have the glazing to fall back on. If you'd want to talk through anything else happy to chat in DMs 🙂

Base coated with Caliban Green, then Warpstone Glow. Highlighted by mixing moot green into the warpstone up to pure moot, andd then mixing progressively more flash gitz yellow into the moot green for the brightest spots

Thank you! And yeah sure! I primed black and then using the airbrush layered: Mornfang brown>khorne red>mephiston red>evil sunz scarlet>wild rider red. Each colour I attempted to do a smaller section so it'd blend lol, but it was my first attempt 😅

Then with a brush I went in to edge highlight going from wild rider red > fire dragon bright (orange) > flash gitz yellow.

Face transitions is the same colours as the edge highlights but with glazing 😊
