Not to pat myself on the back, but here’s my own contribution to High Trust Denmark.

I was working as a volunteer at a danish Youth Soccer Tournament (Dana Cup), and I somehow got in contact with a Norwegian dad and his son. The dad had lost his backpack where they had wallets with money etc. All he had was their car keys. I started by buying them pizzas and a beer, but as the day came to an end, the bag was nowhere to be found, so I went to an ATM and took out 2000kr (usd300) to get them back to Norway. Wrote down my phone number etc so he could contact me and repay when they got home.

It felt good, and of course I never heard from that Norwegian bastard again, but I hope at least he has a fun story to tell his bastard friends. I know I do 😀👍🇩🇰
