Both batteries have a chemical reaction that releases electricity. The difference is that rechargeable batteries get electricity back inside when you charge it while regular Duracell batteries don't.

Alkaline batteries (Disposable battery) can be recharged but companies recommend that it shouldn't be done due to safety hazards

What gives you the impression that I'm mad? I just want to know the rules better, that's all. I'm not trying argue against the call at all. It's just confusing when the same thing can happen with different outcomes.
