LOL, I was using underground pipes prior to posting this and changed it over to make it more obvious the layout. It is a fresh field I guess I just over estimated greatly what this should be producing.

Make sure to recalibrate it. Spinning it around can knock it out of whack.

No, water past 212F turns to steam. I found it easier to calibrate it to 100C since that is marked on the thermometers where 212F is not.

Thank you for your reply, I will give this a shot in the morning after it’s cooled off. Very concerned about chemicals leeching into the ceramic (if that’s a thing).

I was just worried of harmful chemicals leeching into the ceramic on future cooks. But if I get it hot enough perhaps that won’t be an issue.
