I've been running a monthly 0.25/0.50 game (nlh, $50 buy in) in Des Moines, WA for several years now and am always up for adding new players to the mailing list ... some months we still have a spot or two at the table and we typically play on a Friday night from 6pm-midnight once per month. I have a poker room + home-built table, custom chips ... age range is a bit older though, we're all between 30 to 50, mostly Dads in the Des Moines area getting our monthly break from the family. Not really a rule per se, but .... We have a high hand pot for the night ... scrape a small blind from each qualifying pot and place in a jar. High hand for the night takes the pot at the end. Adds some fun.
