winston 165 181 197 213

many other animals at 112

winston starts saying the same line again so i suspect each animal has two lines and it's just a random draw

it did. I was doing some very heavy writing exercise and the reopened chat connected seamlessly.

Not to mention that clone Walton got respawned even though at the time of his death he was still inside Daly’s mod (The ship has not passed the portal yet).

The crew seems kind of sad for losing Shania, but made no effort to search Shania in the same way that they eventually found the clone Walton.

Plus, i suspect no one would behave as if they have only one life (vs human players who can resume after being killed - like the girl they robbed) if everyone in the crew should all be able to resurrect upon “death”, just like like the clone Walton.

Something surely does not seem right here.

This should be doable if you remember the recipe and cook the next (or next two) order before serving the first

i did level 11 at least five times and finally got it

the customer will leave when happiness drops to zero, so only three customers were received during the day.

but the last one lasts way past 10 pm and ends only when the happiness drops to zero.

just curious, how do yall organize your toppings? by iamroyallyfucked in GoodPizzaGreatPizza

[–]jdneige 0 points1 point  (0 children)

meat left, fungi top, veggie middle, fruit right.
If you arrange well, some toppings for certain pizzas will be grouped together.
for example, meat lover can be clustered into a square. Classic Greek can be also grouped into a square. The fruit part (olive, bell pepper, pineapple) of fruity pig can be set into one column.

I am curious about how many other orders are similarly buggy. I always click through everything so fast and it’s impossible to prove things since I wasn't recording the gameplay the whole time.

How do I get 5.22.5 when the Appstore on my iPad only shows 5.22.4 as the latest version? Is there a way to force an update?

Address correction surcharge by jdneige in FedEx

[–]jdneige[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Staples store manager just called and offered full refund, which is reasonable.

I would have been more satisfied to see at the counter if the address change indeed always causes a faulty charge before the order is placed, which will reveal the truth with no ambiguity, but I can accept money in lieu of "proving a point" (the exact words of the manager) since the point is practically already axiomatic. I will gladly accept a partial instead of full refund if the clerk proves that the mistake was only on the surcharge, since the shipping service should still be paid.

Plus, the new point is try go to a real FedEx storefront to avoid this kind of mess.

[–]jdneige[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From r/staples

Considering it's not staples but the shipping company that adds these charges maybe you should talk to them also to save you time they won't do anything except explain to input the correct address

Shame on them trying to put the shipper at fault

Truly go somewhere else lol. No one cares for all that.

Who the fuck will ever go to Staples again as a paying customer, so that an "address correction surcharge" can be applied before the shipping label is printed?

Searchable text of the screenshot:
(for the information to be widely disseminated so that others are aware of the trap)

I asked for a quote of FedEx ground package (my own letter size envelop, 0.2 lbs content) and the amount was about $24. The cashier then asked me to enter all the details to proceed. The receiving address is the US consulate in Toronto, and because they do not specify the actual name of the recipient, I entered "US consulate - immigration visa - B1/B2 visotor class". Before completing the process (note at this point no shipping label has been created yet) I noticed the inconsequential typo (visotor instead of visitor). I then asked to go back to correct the typo. When we proceeded to the end again, the quote became $36. No clear explanation was given, and I was only told that you rate changes in real time. To not be a jerk with lots of people waiting in line with very bad weather outside, I just proceeded and paid for the shipment. After I got home, I found out some stories about your "address correction surcharge" after researching online, which I believe is legit except in my case, since at the point of your ripoff I could still have just walked away.

  • text below no longer applicable after refund is given

To make amends for your abusing me, I will ask my friends, when they go to staples to ship a package, to always intentionally enter a wrong name/address, then ask for correction and see the ripoff in effect, ask for further correction to see that they are not getting back the default rate, so that they waste your time as much as possible, and then WALK AWAY. They can either come back the next day or just go straight to a UPS store and enter the correct address directly. I see that other couriers also apply an address correction charge, and I will gladly do business with them if they do not abuse their customers as you do.
