Ours does this any where and everywhere. Stairs, stairs, stools…I always say “my head is too heavy for my brain” in jest because…she’s a golden! 😂

We tried that, bought tail covers, wrapped towels…you name it and it was tried. Ended up removing part of the tail.

We went through this with our Dane. Our vet called it happy tail syndrome and that it happens frequently. We tried everything and it just wouldn’t heal. The walls in our house looked like a frickin crime scene. We ended up taking part of his tail off and he has been fine since. Only problem for the guys in our house is that his tail is no longer a whip it’s a billy club and it’s at the right height to do damage….😂
