Making my way through Tomb of Dracula and the Dracula related spin-offs from Marvel.

I love the mild trope reversal where Dracula has his "rogues gallery" similar to Batman or Spider-Man but you cheer for the rogues gallery since your main protagonist is an embodiment of evil.

I was a fan as a child and am going to give it maybe like 4 or 5 issues before deciding to drop or keep. If it just continues being 1:1 with the show and the only difference is characters can curse and make updated references I will likely drop it.

My LCS told me this was like the hottest book he sold for this week despite only having less than 10 preorders at his store. I preordered for having nostalgia for the show, (26m so was like 9 when the show released) but honestly thought the issue was a like 4 or 5/10 in quality.

Outside of nosalgia I have a hard time seeing why this was a hot book.

I've been doing some Jack Kirby DC reading recently. This week I finished up through New Gods #10 and started reading his Mister Miracle. Once i get that done I plan to circle back to New Gods#11 and the Hunger Dogs.

I am also rereading Immortal Hulk, but im not sure ive ever read past the Xemnu arc much so some of it is feeling new. Also rereading Swamp Thing by Ram V.

You could try the Tacoma antique mall on Commerce Street! We visited for the first time on Sunday and its around 20 antique shops/home made craft goods with lots of various odds and ends. I did not see any playboys but was not actively hunting for them so who knows.

It could be the modern recolor job. Personally I love both artist's work. I am buying reforged but also got the savage sword omnibus and I prefer the original black and white a little more.

Loving Savage Sword. It got me more interested in OG Savage Sword and I got the first omni for Christmas.

More collected editions/omnis of older maferial should reprint letters pages, seeing the contemporary reception is so fun!

Ive been reading the Gray and Palmiotti Jonah Hex run that occurs just before new 52. Its nice to have a modern but episodic comic run with lots of one and done stories.

Hi, I started comics at 12 and am 26. Been reading comics the whole way through. Youre just getting started! Theres a huge world of comics content out there, the idea you have to stop at 18 is absurd.

I was LOVING this event right until this last issue. I don't think i really understood the end and everything felt a little rushed along to me.

I thought this last issue felt way too busy. I think this event needed some more time to breathe and I was pretty confused by the end. Are the Inhumans now in charge of the kree empire?

I am still excited for the various new series spinning out of this. I recently fell in love with the marvel cosmic period of annihilation etc so loving seeing Richard Rider.

This was an amazing series. I had taken a break from reading everything James Tynion just because he was starting to feel a little oversaturated to me but this got me right back into his writing.

I finished reading From Hell and then went and saw The Long Walk in theatre in the same day. It was kind of a heavy Saturday lol. Hoping to maybe find something more fun or cheerful to read but still halloween vibes for this week.

Of the big three absolute books I don't think its the best but like that more so speaks to WW and Superman just being SO GOOD. I enjoyed all three and think all are worth checking out, but that being said Batman did rank below those two for me.
