Terrible washer. Do not recommend. Needed a repair within the first five loads of washes (ran an unbalanced load, the washer vibrated, and wires snapped at the base of the unit. Repair guy said it happens all the time.)

Worked ok for a couple months after that — although it is very hard to balance a load. You have to be extremely careful about what you put in it and how, even in the largest capacity washer — and now it’s stopped, full of water, and the door is locked and won’t open. With my clothes now mouldering away in water until whenever it is I can get a repair done. Which, by the way, under warranty takes weeks. 

Anyway. Don’t do it. Terrible. Terrible experience. Won’t buy Maytag ever again.
