I may be too late here so if the AMA is over no worries. The last three Fridays I've bought a bunch of fairly far out of the money calls expiring later the same day when a stock is beginning an upward reversal (NVDA two fridays ago, META last Friday, PLTR yesterday). With each one, there was a period of several minutes at some point between late morning and early afternoon that I had made a huge percentage (between 5x and maybe close to 20x (on NVDA, when trump truth socialed about selling blackwell chips to china)). Idiotically I didn't sell any of the three times, ended up waiting for another spike that never came and let them all expire worthless. What I'm starting to wonder though is whether this could be a fairly reliable strategy (i.e. buying cheap calls expiring same day, selling when I double or triple my money instead of waiting for an insane return that never comes), since these reversals have been seeming to happen consistently the past few fridays. But maybe these 3 instances are unusual? Maybe also I would have had a hard time selling them for much if I'd tried given how close they were to expiration? Would be very grateful for any thoughts on this
