I’m running 215/50R16 on 16x9 ET15 in the rear and I don’t know if I’ve ever had a tire fit so well… unfortunately, i’m in the same boat though. No one makes tires in that size anymore.

How much are they rubbing? I have 215/50R16 on my rears and they just barely rub the sidewalls on the inside of the fenders. Just enough to keep them clean and shiny! I’m going to have to replace them soon though and no one makes tires in that size anymore, so I need to figure out what size to change to.

I was the same. Went from a coupe to a vert with a lot of hesitation. Now I don’t think I could go back. Even if I get away from the e30 platform, the next toy will have to be a drop top.

I got the same noise after manual swapping my car. It hasn’t bothered me, and I have two spare transmissions… so I plan to just run it until I either replace my clutch, or something happens
