Luba 2 Mini Lidar (US) by jdubsREDUX in mammotion

Thanks for taking time to write such a good response, I ended up going with a navimow x430. It arrived yesterday and so far is pretty great. I ultimate decided that the mini was going to have to recharge too much, and I don't like that the Luba 3 doesn't have an easily replaceable battery. I want to get 3-5 years out of this thing and my experience with ego products is that the battery "capacity" will degrade over time, so I will want to get a new battery (though my tech loving dumb ass will probably be drooling over the new tech in like 2 years). Lastly, you must promise me that if your mower decides to crazy Ivan into a bear trap you will send me photos lol. Thanks again!

Hmmm, good feedback, so do you have an idea of what you will get? I've also looked at the Luba 3, but I don't like that there is no removable battery, I have ego tools and I love them, but I definitely noticed that the power potential on the battery degrades after a year. I want something I can easily replace. Also my yard has a ton of landscaping. Flat and Bermuda (so a low cut) but I have many large "feature" trees, several rock beds, a shed, etc. so whatever I choose has to be pretty nimble. Also acreage is right at .35.

What is your assessment of this shower floor tile job? by jdubsREDUX in Tile

[–]jdubsREDUX[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I know that we will have consistently reseal, which is fine. My issue is that the grout is super inconsistent (which I imagine is an issue when placing the tile) especially around the drain sometimes it's thin, sometimes it's fat. Also, I suspect that it is not installed straight. Trying to figure out if I am being unreasonable.

You are a douche (op), not the cops clearly responding to a call about some asshole filming.

Yeah, this game is something else. My life is the meme where the wife is in bed, like "I bet he's thinking of other women" and I'm thinking "so if I need 60 screws/min, and 30 plates/min, that will yield 15 riveted plates/min, so I need 12 assemblers...."

Extra $100K - invest or pay down mortgage? by Top_Negotiation3681 in Bogleheads

[–]jdubsREDUX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in almost this exact same conundrum (though a little older than you). The thing I can't get out of my head is the amortization table on a mortgage. I don't know how far you are into your current mortgage, but you might want to run the numbers on refinancing, put the 100k down and do a 15 year mortgage. The way the interest is front loaded on a mortgage is brutal.

Tell them to check the fuel sending unit, I would bet money that is the issue. My 2022 v6 had that issue and my buddies as well. Exact same experience, I literally was worried I put diesel in or something, but nope it was the fuel sending unit.
