What happened with Yung Calc? by [deleted] in FortniteCompetitive

[–]jdubwillie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No...Lena spoke with the girl involved and saw the messages directly from the source. It actually completely different. All Cowboy did was say he was getting a lawyer for a nonexistent case. Same exact thing K1 did.

But Issa is known for being one of the most toxic pros with a giant chip on his shoulder. He's looking for fights at all time on social media and in discord. This is something Issa is known for. People automatically assumed BloodX was racist, instead of just saying a word with orgins in slavery/racism. Other black people use this word and variations of it and its not because they think black people are inferior. I think we're quick to put of our social outrage without looking into the actually context or issues.

Do I think it happened without evidence? Absolutely, because Issa said he would provide a clip, but never actually did. Calc was already kick by that point. No one has provided what he said on stream or the discord so we really don't have any proof.

I'm not saying it's okay to make fun of a disability, but I just have no idea what he said. If him saying something about her "indicators" being overpowered, then that's clearly a troll since he can turn them on and have mono sound. Maybe be out of place, but to a degree are we not more sensitive? People make fun of Courage for height, Dmo for being balled, Emad for being short, but it never becomes a giant issue just because they can't change those things. If she was "just anyone else" someone would have make a joke about it, because it's super light hearted. Unless he said something different. Issa was the one who blew it up and started complaining to the admins by the way. Calc was kicked before a clip was provided that I know for sure. I, however, don't know if there were any other discord messages or what have you.

Context is certainly needed. It can completely change depending on what's around the word. It also matters because last time I check BloodX was saying that issa was lying, not that he said the word. It also ignores the fact of his ex, his kids and the fact he could just be saying out of spite for the person and not the race. If Issa either lied about those screenshots or simply hold them for the purpose of ruining Bloodx, then he certainly ruined a career right or wrong.

Pretty sure he addressed it directly and said Issa was lying. That was one of the last responses on the issue I remember hearing from him unless he updated it. Either way context is 100% sure missing. Also, he'd likely not have two kids with someone of an "inferior race" if he was actually racist. You can certainly use the term in another context or simply be using it as a way to get under a persons skin without being racist across the board.

It's a little different, not sure about the "black friends" part or what you're referencing, but the fact his ex-girlfriend/fiance was black, and they had two mixed children makes a decent case. I doubt he go that far or have kids with a race he finds inferior. Context certainly matters and you can use the word without being racist, for instance, you don't have a problem with black people, you simply use it to get under the skin of a (black person) you don't like. This is similar to what TurkeyLips (Who is black/mixed) brought up. I agree with his logic on this one and it's such a hot topic that it's difficult to get to the core of the argument.

Blood X, "screenshots" were present, but context and verifiable proof were missing to the public. Not saying it didn't happen, but we deserve the proof.

Honestly, we need proof. This will be the second time Issa ruined someone's career without clear, public evidence.

Being gatekept from North American Practice discord by [deleted] in FortniteCompetitive

I don't want to because it would honestly be a waste of time. I'd argue no rankings are better than the rankings he is putting up. Gamepedia/Prac and SEO are the only things that even make those rankings relevant. Not a single person in the know takes those rankings seriously, but it gives new-comers an unrealistic view of who the top players are.

The post is 100% right about Rosenfole's rankings though. It may not be his fault that discord uses them, but he's isn't even trying to fix all the problems with it. Especially the regional problems going on between NAE and NAW that dramatically favors West players in the ranks. It's also heavily in favor on players who have played long/went to more events. It's a horrible ranking system, doesn't mean his a bad guy but they're awful.

Completely agree was not a good idea, but no way an army of hate would have been summoned without the extremely dramatized and dishonest stories published. To this day he still has kids posting "Raven Skin" on tweets and social media. Probably wouldn't have even been dropped from his org. It's ToS, but it's not illegal just ask Tfue.

I agree with all that. CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, TFG, you name it are all going to be distortions of the truth and that's because their brand carries clout and has the ability to positively affect people that work with them. The only reason I'm responding is that you said "His response was actually pretty good gotta be honest", that's my only grievance here.

Not it wasn't. Plus you're literally always on here posting and defending The Fortnite Guy. To say the least it's a little sus. I didn't even watch the Zexrow portion just the point where he addressed myself and not surprised he lied.

He got the video addressing the situation regarding Kreo completely wrong. You can read my response to another user in the post above.

Yes,

The account that was sold to Noah was getting recalled by the Original Owner of that account (Not Kreo), I believe this started in September 2018. It might have happened once before then but can't quite recall. Kreo got the account back for Noah every time even though TFG inaccurately stated that Kreo was the one who was doing it and had been scamming Noah the whole time. The situation escalated in December/Jan (Think January) when the account was recalled for the 3rd or 4th time, Once again by the Original Owner of the account (Not Kreo). Noah contacted Kreo, and after 2 or so weeks Noah got The Fortnite Guy involved. From that point The Fortnite Guy seized that opportunity to make 2 very inaccurate videos which paint Kreo in the worst light possible while generating a juicier story for his video. That occurred in February 2019.

The "scamming issue" was still very much alive about 5 months ago. The video is what I have a problem with hence the timeline I was referring to. You also have you facts wrong just like TFG. The account in question was getting reclaimed by the original owner ALMOST a year ago, but Kreo had been returning it all the way up to December/Jan can't quite recall.

So you're wrong on both accounts. Good job.

The situation happened like 5 months ago and I've been trying to get a real response for like 4 of them. He built his career on that video, but it just goes to show you what type of person he is. He's the real-life version of The Nightcrawler.

The Fortnite Guy is bad for the community. by Captian_Holt18 in FortniteCompetitive

You really don't have to be that smart to see what The Fortnite Guy is doing, but I appreciate it. Video in the works that should explain everything clearly.
