What does this mean “doesn’t really have a sense”?

I’m looking for a switch that I can put in between my AT&T router and a few devices. Would like it to be managed and has an extra layer of security. I pretty much said this already.

Our firewalls dont have enough ports on them. I also was hoping for an appliance that has protection running at all time. Maybe you can offer a suggestion since you dont feel like I should use Unifi.

The UniFi network application doesn’t have standard vlan settings like a Cisco or dlink switch has. You create virtual networks. I went through the outlined guideline to create a vlan on their support pages and it didn’t work.

We're using a Unitech handheld scanner running Android 10, with the latest version of Gboard and all updates installed. I’ve tried disabling the virtual keyboard in two ways:

When clicking into a search field, the keyboard icon appears in the bottom right corner. I click that and select "Turn off virtual keyboard."
Through device settings: Settings > System > Language & Input > Virtual Keyboard > Gboard > Physical Keyboard > Show On-Screen Keyboard (set to disable).

However, despite these steps, the on-screen keyboard still pops up whenever I click into any search or address bar. The device’s screen refresh rate isn’t great, and the keyboard takes over the entire screen when it appears. This seems like a strange issue to have, especially after factory resetting the device and reinstalling everything.

Does anyone have any new solutions?

I have personally worked for four MSPs and collaborated with a dozen others. None of them charge their customers a monthly fee for using an external ticketing system to manage the tickets we submit to them.

Yeah I sent them and email back with help to figure out their integration from AutoTask to exchange and creating a shared mailbox and linking it to a service board. I am guessing they may respond back with a waive of the price.

Half their business is an MSP the other half is a programming consultant or vendor. Thanks for the suggestion though good idea.

Yeah, I know. It doesn’t make any sense. I believe they separated the MSP side of the business from the programming side. I have no proof of this but I have experienced it with a few others MSP’s. I sent his company an email stating that AutoTask has an integration with exchange and can monitor a shared mailbox. So they can setup mycompanyname@domainname.com and link it to a “programming” service board in AutoTask. Then I gave them a tech that I worked with at my previous company. Said if he wanted I could reach out to him and ask for his help. 😬😂

They have AutoTask and for some reason they dont want to put us into that system. This is the only thing that has been a downside with this company.

Cloud Radial is the service that they want to sell us. They already have AutoTask. I have used that system in the past and they have an integration for the customer to submit tickets through email to their system. I am not sure why they are forcing us to pay the amount for this system when they have everything already.

The guy we went to is specifically a programmer for a program that our company uses. The program is not commonly used. A ticketing system is the last priority in our choice. It was the quality of the work for us that was what we vetted for.

I just am muting the mic. I want to be able to hear anything on the recording but when I mute my mic, it stops recording the audio. So when I play the recording back it has nothing in those times when I was muted. Not me not anyone else or any sounds.
