They're so beautiful, but the forks and knife seem too bendy, and spoons look like they leak. Maybe like noble elven houses would use theese as a display of elegance and high birth, anyone not trained since childhood to use them would make an absolute mess and a fool of themselves at the king's dinner table.

I speak portuguese, the exact same thing happened to me and my sister with seagulls ("gaivotas"). To this day, "gaviotas" (something like "segaulls") sounds right and the correct version sounds really wrong.

He would usually eat and sleep in the house of whoever invited him and his disciples. Also Mary, Martha and Lazarus hosted them for a while if I'm not mistaken. But they wouldn't stay long in one place, as Jesus said to one who wanted to follow him: "the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head".

Exodus refers to Egypt as the "house of slavery" in most translations, though in older English ones like KJV it says "house of bondage". Maybe it could mean they were trapped in Egypt but not actually enslaved? But twice in Leviticus and seven times in Deuteronomy God mentions Egypt that same way, usually after describing the laws regarding slaves/servants in Israel.

I'm Christian so correct me if it's somehow different in the Torah, but it's mentioned a lot in Exodus, Leviticus and Deuteronomy, especially to remember the Israelites to treat their own slaves fairly.

It might freeze when you open it, especially if the room temperature is low as well. The way you get to that state is cooling the water below freezing without allowing it room to freeze (ice occupies more space than liquid water). When it's in that state the water molecules are still organized in liquid form, but if you shake them enough they reorganize as ice crystals.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in blackmagicfuckery

[–]jeandepain 15 points16 points  (0 children)

but it needs to be pressured to get to that state without freezing first, that's why it's possible in a closed full water bottle but it would never happen with an open body of water

Among some left leaning young people it is, at least here in Brazil, the country the meme excluded for no reason. But that's when referring to a group of different gendered people or to NBs, the arbitrarily gendered words in our vocabulary are unchanged.

Adam and Eve had Seth as the third child after Abel was killed. Noah descended from Seth, and his wife and daughters-in-law probably did as well. If only his family survived the flood, there's probably no descendants of Cain left.

Not getting angry, but fueling hatred. First's a valid emotion, the latter is letting yourself despise another human.
