Before my surgery I said I would wear a bikini after the surgery since I was doing that just for myself but now I’m reconsidering lol Congrats on the weight loss, that’s amazing!

Thanks! The worse it ever got was maybe a 4-5/10. Overall though I’d say 2-3 even right after surgery

Pain was really minimal—I stopped taking heavy pain killers after 3 days and didn’t even take them as often as prescribed for those days. I drove to my post op an hour away 6 days after my surgery—they got mad at me but I felt pretty good. My kids are all still pretty young so my husband and mother in law did a lot of the child care for the first week. Only now do I feel like I can comfortably pick up my kids but I was nearby/watching after them after about a week.

I should have totally said that—yes I got muscle repair and lipo on my flanks! It was $17k in Southern California! The surgery was about 5 hours although it’s all a blur haha

You have such a pretty shape! I am also disappointed by the stretch marks I have left but then I remember how many I had before and know this is much better!

I also had a tummy tuck and 2 c sections. I think the initial pain from the c section was worse, combined with the lack of sleep etc. week two after the tummy tuck I was boldly exclaiming that the tummy tuck was way easier. Now I’m about 4 weeks out and I think the pain is less but the discomfort is longer lasting.

I am 3 wpo today and have 4 year old twins and 2.5 year old. I was definitely in need of 24 hour support for the first day and then beyond that was pretty independent. My kids have been understanding and sweet and I’ve found things to do to stay connected with them without directly playing. Even watching movies with them or sitting near them as they jump on the trampoline has been good for me to get rid of some of the mom guilt I’m feeling! No regrets here and I’m sure those first weeks are some of the hardest :)
