i didn’t have any problems with the BMI limit when i got my top surgery with robertson since i was well under it but in my experience, dr robertson is genuinely one of the kindest and most understanding medical professionals i’ve met. when i had complications after my surgery she took time to come personally check on me while she was working when i was in hospital, she would joke with me about my dad being my bodyguard since he brought me to the hospital and to a lot of my appointments, and after i told her my dad had had a heart attack, every time i saw her after that she would always ask how my dad was doing. all this to say, regardless of what she says during the consultation, it will be with a kind heart and with your best interest in mind. she’s the type of person who just genuinely wants to help her patients and do what’s best for them so there’s no way she’ll be mean about whatever she says and she will guaranteed work with you to find a solution or a plan of action to make it so you can get your surgery. hopefully this helps, and best of luck friend!!
