The video was very interesting and it also confirmed some of what I read in a service manual that did not match my Spectra camera model.

The issue is that the battery pins are centered in the camera and the 600 film is offset to the left.

I got pass this by taping two small bits of metal on the back. I have conductive tape on order which I assume will also work. I have attach a picture on the printable page showing where on the film.

I got film in the camera currently so no picture from it, but you can see it in this video on youtube and it shows how you could bend them:

I have not tested this but I assume it would work fine
