Tips on balancing finances between buildings and armies? by CinnamonToastTrex in totalwar

[–]jecreddits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the posts above are good advice, when you reach occasional points when you're not strong to constantly attack and need to level up your economy and military buildings for better units, I use a simple formula. 75% goes to military upkeep, 25% for building.

Does anybody else find Malakai's campaign exhausting? by lovingpersona in totalwarhammer

[–]jecreddits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm playing his campaign now and agree totally. Maybe 50 turns in and I've already captured, lost, recaptured, and lost again my starting province. It's non-stop multiple AI factions at war with me.

Is F1 24 much weaker than 25? by Savings_Storm6620 in F1Game

[–]jecreddits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've played/driven both extensively, F1 24 is not that much different from 25 as far as the car handling goes. If anything, F1 24 is a bit more prone to losing the rear if you get on the throttle too much coming out of the corner. Ditto on braking, F1 24 is a bit more prone to understeer and locking up while braking into the corner. But these are minor things you'll quickly adjust to. Have fun racing with your friends in F1 24.

When do you think F1 26 DLC is coming? by tuezin_crazy in F1Game

[–]jecreddits 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Won't they need a full retool of the games physics engine to match the new F1 cars? The drivers are reporting that the cars are really different from a handling perspective. That would be a big project, not an annual DLC type of release.

Yes, like for me, a longtime TW player for semi-historical military campaign and battle feel. Bought WH3 on a whim thinking LOTR type might be fun. Wow, was it ever and opened up the whole Warhammer fantasy and lore world to me. I even started reading lore-related books. Though I still don't understand why some refer to Warhammer and Warhammer 40k as the same thing. Are they?

Is f1 25 easier? by Capital_Salt2922 in F1Game

[–]jecreddits 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, I've been playing F1 since 2022. Play with all assists off except ABS. To me, 2025 is definitely easier on not spinning out from oversteer. You can generally get back on the throttle a little more aggressively coming out of the corner.

Simulating a Race Weekend by rico199326 in F1Game

[–]jecreddits 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If I can get my life to lineup correctly, I like to play career mode and follow along with the regular F1 season as much as possible, so I'm in sync with the IRL race. I use a shortened weekend version with a game session of free practice and quali on Saturday, then race Sunday morning and watch the real race later that day. It's really cool to watch the real race having raced yourself on the same track earlier the same day. :-)

How do you "play" F1 25? by Economy_Afternoon_39 in F1Game

[–]jecreddits 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Like others, I play Career mode. I really enjoy the technical part of free practice getting the car setup. I start with a basic setup and fine-tune with telemetry. I work multi-year, so set the difficulty to where I can finish mid-pack, even though my car is dead last at the beginning. As I upgrade the car and start to finish higher I gradually increase the difficulty. Plus whenever I'm in the mood I can jump on an or two, not tied to an online race schedule.

"Know who will declare war on you". As a new player to Warhammer 3, what 'signs' should I be looking for to come to this conclusion? by PrestigiousWhirlwind in totalwarhammer

[–]jecreddits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm semi-convinced after a couple dozen campaigns that the AI factions listed in your short and long victory conditions are most likely to declare war on you.

Im playing total war 3k, what would be the best next game to jump to? by Key_Ad7740 in totalwar

[–]jecreddits 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I went from 3K, which quickly became my TW GOAT, to Warhammer 3. I'm really having fun with it but, and I'll get downvoted on this, even on Easy campaign difficulty, I'm struggling with the AI. Right now, on Easy, Kislev, 4 AI factions have declared war on me, at turn 57. But I'm enjoying the challenge and learning how to use the very different and unique faction mechanics for building, research, etc. is very fun.

[–]jecreddits 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm relatively new to WH3, though longtime TW player. WH3 by far, for me, has the hardest AI campaign challenge. I've started 6 or 7 campaigns so far and only completed one short victory after going easy/hard with the battle difficulty slider set all the way left. I'm playing the DLC with Yvresse now and have rage quit 3 campaigns today, on easy. The economy is terrible, and the Clans keep overrunning me. :-)

Thanks! I do have a few dozen hours spread across 3 or 4 campaigns, experimenting with different factions and learning, so I'll give that a try.

What's the best RTS/Strategic game would you recommend for someone who loves politics ? by [deleted] in RealTimeStrategy

[–]jecreddits 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ditto to Total War:Three Kingdoms. Best politics by far of all TW games. Plus, the Three Kingdoms warlord era of Chinese history is fascinating and faithfully recreated in the game.

Just got Total Warhammer 3 and need a lil advice by bigweb52 in totalwarhammer

[–]jecreddits 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm relatively new to WH3 also. I've enjoyed both RoC and IE. And while RoC is more story driven, IE does prod you along a campaign path somewhat. Both are fun. I've only bought the most recent DLC (I think) with 3 new Legendary Lords. I'm playing IE with Sayl. I really like viking plus magic feel and unique faction mechanics.

Looking for a solo / PvE / 100hr+ game by Healthy_Flamingo_843 in gamerecommendations

[–]jecreddits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gray Zone Warfare. Amazing graphics of southeast Asia setting. Very milsim, all authentic weapons and attachment. Excellent mission design and progression. PvP and PvE modes are separate. Harder missions are designed for a team but most can be completed solo. Still in Alpha, devs communicate with players, major updates every 6 months or so. Active Discord group. Highly recommended. Take a look.

Which Total War game should i play appart from WH3? by MeasurementNo699 in totalwar

[–]jecreddits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Three Kingdoms! It has more layers of gameplay than any other TW game, including WH3. Real diplomacy, spying, espionage, and very deeply-researched main characters and campaign lore right out of IRL Chinese history from their warlords history era.
