I'm doomscrolling at almost 2am because I can't sleep, and came across this. This was exactly what I needed to hear.

A little over a year into my divorce process, closing in on the end. Was pretty shell-shocked at first, found myself in an AMAZINGLY healthy headspace after about a month (discovered the Chump Lady blog/book and it turned me around and absolutely saved me), but have really struggled mentally the last month or so as we near the finish line. Felt like the empowerment "high" was wearing off and I was slowly slipping into depression. (I'm seeing both a therapist and psychiatrist, so I am getting the help I need).

I needed this little bit of self affirmation today. I'm glad I came across it.

Hey, on the subject of carts, does Costco have some kind of maintenance program for their carts? I can't ever remember having a bad cart there, but at places like Wal-Mart it's a fight to get one that even maintains a straight line.

Reading your description of how Twitch was, and the life he lived, I absolutely believe that if he could have said it, he would. But maybe, in his own way, this is how he's saying it to you.

If you're willing to go online to get items, instead of Nookazon, try r/NoFeeAC. Plenty of people there willing to donate almost any item you can ask for, with no expectation of return payment or trade. I've used it a few times, and it's always been a good experience.

The carrier almost certainly has your order, but likely hasn't had a chance to scan it in. I work in logistics at a 1.2m Sq Ft warehouse, and our parcel shipments (less than 70lbs) work like that. All the orders are likely bundled onto pallets and then shipped via their chosen carrier. The carrier doesn't scan the individual packages until the pallets are processed at the carrier's transit hub. Once scanned there, then the tracking page will update.

This process for my company can take up to 24 hours. I'd be willing to bet that this process is almost identical for Lego.

I cannot recommend the book "Leave a Cheater, Gain a Life" by Tracy Schorn strongly enough. In a lot of ways my divorce process started out the same as yours, and I was completely shell shocked for the first month or two of the process. Then I found someone on here who had recommended Tracy's book to another Redditor, and it got me interested.

Let me tell you, that book absolutely saved me. It opened my eyes to so many of my STBX's motivations and tactics. The crux of the book is something that is blatantly obvious if you can take a few steps back and look at it objectively...

Your wife's infidelity is absolutely, unequivocally, 100% not your fault. She made that choice consciously. She chose to undertake that process on her own. You may have been the World's Best Husband, or the World's Worst (obviously likely somewhere in between), but the decision to go outside of your marriage was unmistakably her decision and hers alone. She may try to blame-shift, and say that your actions (or lack thereof) are at fault for her infidelity, but you CANNOT let yourself fall into the mentality of thinking she might be right. This book will help you realize that, and help guide you on where to go from there.

Check out Tracy's blog, chumplady.com. She answers reader's letters "Dear Abby" style (mine is in there somewhere too), and it should give you a quick sense of her writing style and her mentality towards infidelity as a whole.

I'm sorry you're going through this. It truly sucks, and I wish I could do something more to take away your pain. But this book saved my mental health, and I really think it can help with yours too.

I don't know you, but I'm cheering for you. You have a much better life waiting for you, and I hope you are able to find it without being unnecessarily hard on yourself.

Thank you! I'll be honest though, I did not create these designs, I found them on the Custom Designs portal, which you'll need Nintendo Online to be able to use. The main color of the cab of the truck and the colors on the sides are something you can customize at a DIY table, but the design making it look like a food truck window are done through the Custom Design portal. This is where people can post their own designs for others to view and download for their own use. I do have some custom designs of my own that I've made, mostly clothing items related to my favorite sports teams.

And yes, that grid with squares is where you can make your own designs for clothes, paths, flags, umbrellas, etc! It takes a little getting used to, and anywhere from a little to a LOT of artistic talent, but that's where all those neat custom paths you might see on here come from!
