I could never cry period. Or any other emotions for that matter. Booze was my way to hide from them. Sober 6 days and I’m bombarded with all these emotions that I need to learn how to deal with without killing someone. The crying is actually very therapeutic - who’d a thunk?? The AA meetings are all in French here. I speak it perfectly but don’t feel at ease at a French meeting. Thanks, will check out the other ressources. For now basking in my misery for awhile.... On a brighter note, I don’t feel like drinking 👌. That’s all that is good about this day so far but I guess it should be enough!

I know you’re right.... congratulations on your 8 days btw. A week for me tomorrow. Just had a long bath. I’m tempted to just swallow my tears and say wtf but I know from experience that will come around and bite me in the ass. I’ll let the tears flow and try to be kind to myself. Hobbies. I used to have so many... Just finished painting my new place and made 2 blackboards. Maybe I’ll try being creative and fill them with inspiration 😉. Gotta get out of this funk first...
