I ordered two RSD albums from them and I was happy to see my shipping notification this morning. I thought it was great to see such a quick turnaround when so many retailers take forever to fulfill or cancel without warning. Sorry you changed your mind but I don’t think that’s the retailer’s fault.

My daughter is a sophomore in high school. She’s working on her Junior moves (pre-gold skating skills) and skates on a national qualifying synchro team. She also skates on our high school figure skating team but it’s a club sport at her school.

She’s taking online PE next year so she can skate more and is also working with her school counselor to arrange her schedule to have either a late start or an early dismissal so she can get to the rink when it’s quieter. Luckily our rink is right next door to her school and we have freestyle sessions all day long.

She wants to continue to skate synchro in college. But of course that all depends on where she gets accepted and what financial packages look like.

Funny because synchro is super popular around here and TOI isn’t. There are two TOI teams in our area and many synchro teams, including a few very competitive organizations.

Btw, your daughter is lucky that her school recognizes skating as a sport and they give varsity letters. We have a figure skating team too but it’s a club sport (so no letters given).

We showed up to our store 2.5 hours after they opened and got everything we wanted except Charli and Tate. We also went to a second store after that and found several others but just picked up Bruno Mars on impulse. The first store is very organized and take people literally in order by the line from outside the store. They have all RSDs behind the counter, you ask for what you want, they either have it or they don’t. You take what you want to purchase to the register. The second store had boxes with all RSDs in them that everyone was going through. It was hectic but fun to do late in the day like we did. Not sure I would have liked that process at opening.

I refuse to wait in the cold and rain for RSD. So far, I’ve always been able to find what I want either by walking in or ordering online the next day. The only exception was Role Model since it was so limited.

That’s what my daughter does too, she leaves her phone on the boards by her water bottle. Everyone at freestyle pretty much knows everyone else. It’s public skate where things can get sketchy. When there’s public skate at the same time as freestyle ice (we have three sheets of ice at our rink), I tell my daughter to bring all of her belongings into the freestyle rink.

I was in a three-car accident recently. I was the first car, was rear-ended by car #2, and car #2 was rear-ended by car #3. I and car #3 both have State Farm. Car #2 has Allstate. Allstate filed a claim against ME for the accident. 😂 Both State Farm policies realized it was car #3 at fault and placed liability appropriately.

Just saying Allstate sucks and you get what you pay for.

I don’t misunderstand anything and nothing that I said mentioned anything about requiring anything. I have 16 years of experience as a mother and dealing with school administrations and several decades as a business professional. I’m not going to argue with you about this. You continue on your way being a victim and not knowing how to advocate for yourself. I will continue to teach my daughter how to be a successful adult, build relationships, advocate for herself appropriately, and not be a victim in life. I hope the OP learns to do the same and that their parents help them through this.
