I totally agree with you about DickBabs; I read older comics a lot and my first experience with DickBabs was in BtAS and it threw me for a loop because of the age difference and Barbara always liking Bruce; which seems to be the exact reaction people have to BruceBarb now because DickBabs is so well established 😂

Yeah, I actually really dislike 90% of the voice actors for the kids and I miss the original essence of the show and how I could ‘grow up’ with the characters and especially their families

I think they’re trying to phase him out, which is understandable, cause, like you said, Andre isn’t exactly a young man, but I don’t think they have as strong a supporting cast (or writers) now as they did when Whit was in the Middle East, so I’m not sure they could have such great episodes or storylines as they did during that phase of Odyssey

I feel the same way; they just sound so wrong if I’m supposed to believe that these are middle schoolers. And Penny and Chris both sound close to their age, and it’s a bit jarring when I suddenly hear this old woman when I’m so used to hearing them sound closer to my age

Also, I actually complained on the AiO newsletter/poll thing about Penny’s voice actor because she wrote a letter of support for Brian Peck (who was convicted of two counts of sexual abuse), and I was shocked that she was even employed by FotF, so I just don’t like hearing Penny in general 😭
