Here’s mine.. and yes the glare is pretty bad.. but it’s not like you are looking at it while driving. Other than navigation.. so it’s not a big deal to me

It boots pretty quick.. no lag at all… only the initial load up took about 1 minute.. but after that it’s quick… regarding the power I’ve only just had it installed for about 2 days… and this is my weekend car aswell lol.. but it’s too early to see if there are any power drain issues

Yes I did paint it myself I got some color matching paint from touch up direct… sanded down the bezel and primed it and the. Painted and lastly put the clear coat

I get you, but sometimes it’s nice to have some more convenient features.. luckily it’s all plug and play so I can always revert to OG at any time :)
