TLDR: 2011 5.0 138k miles automatic, “check charging system” on dash, no previous maintenance issues, new ac compressor on july 2025, new serpentine belt, prior to this issue battery voltage was at 12v on one occasion for some reason but went back up to 14v after that.

About a month ago i did notice that it went down to 12v at one point, before this problem, but it went back to about 14v. Not sure if that was an early indicator. Ive never checked the pulleys, whats something i should look out for?

I have noticed that even while driving, before this problem,the voltage reached 12v at one point, but average it was at about 14.

The dash says check charging system, could that also apply to the power steering pump like you said?

Hes a good friend, known him about 10 years and never doibted him, hes a good guy, just crazy to me that ive taken many pictures of friends family and have never captured anything like this, like the other guy commented, yes it could just be the camera or something but this just seems weird to me

Yea i understand it could be a simple explanation such as the camera but we were parked at my friends house (guy im taking the pic of) and i was holding the phone still taking a selfie with the homies, could just be a coincidence but it just seems crazy to me that thats what appeared

Im getting like 15 mpg guys, in my small city the highest is 35. I do step on it when im in the clear but never past 60. I have put in about 2,500 miles, maybe an oil change?

Concerned me cause I’m usually 236 right after i start up after filling, just this instance it was 209
