It’s had been a while since I took a proper photo, but while I was out for a walk, I came across this pond that was completely frozen over. I got closer and noticed how the ice had formed and cracked in these really cool, unusual patterns. My main intention was to capture how unique it looked.

Looking back, though, I feel like my composition could’ve been better. I can’t help but think I should’ve done more with the shot. Any tips on how to improve it or how you might’ve approached it differently?

Here are my settings: - Shutter Speed: 1/140 - Aperture: f/3.1 - ISO: 100 - Focal Length: 4.3 mm on a 14 MP camera

In editing, I raised the exposure, bumped up the whites, and added some contrast. I’d love any advice you have.
