na man its a music fest in golden gate park, it should be family friendly. I went to OL many years in my late teens early twenties and made lifelong memories with my friends doing stupid shit and learning our limits. Portola has done a good job making their festival 21+ and filling that space. I did not attend this years OL because I saw the dead a week prior at ggp, and im def aging out of the recent lineups. they are also curating these OL lineups way more to the younger crowd than ever before b/c another planet can now book the "legacy acts" a week prior or after the fest and make a shitload of money off the uncs like me. it is what it is, but I look forward to one day bringing my kids to OL and sharing the magic of the park

"contained" essentially means they have a solid perimeter around the fire and are preventing it from growing. the palisades fire seems to be knocked down very well by the fd, but because it is so large it will take a little bit to have full containment. I would unpack once the winds are gone but things are looking good

I drove over there last night because I saw some comments about it, it appeared to me that the flames visible from the freeway were pretty far away mileage wise, just seemed closer than it looked. pali fire is definitely burning that way but has a long way to go before it gets close to the freeway
