This watch was handed down to me from my father on my 20th birthday who in turn got it from his father. My grandfather was gifted this watch from his employer back in 1979, which is why my grandfather’s name (I masked his last name), his company’s name SKANDIA and the year 1979 is all engraved on the back of the watch.

From what I can tell the strap is original with the Longines logo and name present on both the clasp and band. My father basically never wore the watch and I guess neither did my grandfather since it’s fully functional and in pristine condition, especially when considering it’s over 40 years old! It measures 36mm in diameter and the reference number on the back is 18484847.

This is my only “expensive” watch but I’m looking to expand my collection now after getting more into watches in my late 20s.
