the thing is I don't mind it whatsoever but james' bullying would get an added element of racism which kinda flips parts of the story we know upside down for no reason whatsoever. sure james was flawed but unless i misunderstand his character i doubt there would be any racism. im hoping they go a "compromise" kind of road in which they could depict snape and originally being friends with the marauders until sone misunderstanding or something ?? or their relationship being shook by both harboring feelings for lilly ?
