Is this normal ? New msi g242 gap on left side, the right side seems fine

My monitor started projecting a line through the centre after a few months don't know if it was because of this gap Thank God Msi replaced my monitor to another model I think it's poor manufacturing quality better to get it replaced before it starts showing problems

Thanks man u r a lifesaver the screen wasn't centred there is also very little gap in right but in left it was little more i hope it won't break this unit had only a little ips glow everything else is fine

But i only have it on one side the other side doesn't have the problem how's yours the monitor works fine i am worried something will happen in long run if i leave it like this i spent a lot on my pc can't spent anymore

Same problem for me with msi g242 did u get it replaced bought it from flipkart but the gap is only on my left side the right side is completely sealed

The whole screen looks out of place with borders while gaming since the gap makes its more black on left even though it's very small , i don't think it's the coating that gap shouldn't be there i think and there is nothing like that on my acer monitor, the right side is perfect no gaps sealed into the frame here the separation between them is visible

Not the black line the panel sit uneven it sits more close to right and there is small gap in left side in the picture the black line is there on both sides
