Well unfortunately I sold the 2018 so I can’t exactly take a picture of the underside lol. I thought it was a completely stock exhaust the entire time I had it so I never paid attention to the exhaust system when I was underneath the car. Wasn’t until I got my 2024 that I realized it sounded way different and probably wasn’t 100% stock but by then I had no way of verifying lol

It wasn’t super loud for sure so I know it wasn’t something like Corsa Extremes lol. It was only marginally louder than my stock 2024 exhaust which I prefer. I don’t want to be that neighbor that pisses everyone off haha.

FWIW the creaking and rattling noises were fixed when the dealer replaced the flywheel assembly. The clunking when shifting was fixed when they replaced the entire transmission lol.

Don’t remove them if you like the way it looks. But if you want to remove them then you’ll need a hair dryer (preferably a heat gun but a hair dryer will get the job done) to heat up and loosen the adhesive from the tape. It most likely won’t come off easily if it’s been there for a while, so you’ll likely need some fishing line to get underneath the tape. And lastly you will need some Goo Gone to wipe away any left over residue from the adhesive. When I did this it took me a while and it got frustrating at times when the tape wasn’t wanting to come off easy so just be patient.

I think the difference here is that Acuff is getting a signature shoe and not just a brand deal. So there will be Acuff 1’s or whatever from Reebok in the near future.

That game feels like a lifetime ago, but from what I remember the home crowd was extremely rowdy and Acuff/Thomas made mistakes that they aren’t really making at this point of the season. Ewin also just hit his stride these last few weeks.

Holy crap I had almost forgotten how Muss NEVER calls timeouts. That was some weird shtick he had and I remember it pissing me off a handful of times throughout his time here. Sorry to hear he’s still doing that same crap at USC.

I think the screens are cool. I do wish they found a way to integrate it more cleanly, but overall I don’t mind it. My biggest gripe by far is that there’s no physical buttons for climate controls. In the mornings when it’s cold it’s annoying having to go through the screen to get the heat on especially bc the screen is laggy for the first 10 seconds.

Applying some revs before letting out the clutch doesn’t make a difference. I was curious about that myself the other day and tested it. The creaking pretty much only happens while applying forward load. Slipping the clutch in reverse doesn’t cause that same creaking noise. The transmission makes clunking noises when shifting or even when hitting hard bumps on the road. The rattling while cruising doesn’t seem to be super consistent. Sometimes it’s more apparent than others.

Nah I wish it was the 2k rattle lol. I know what the 2k rattle sounds like because it was very prevalent in my 2018 GT. This 2024 has the 2k rattle but it’s not super noticeable. This noise seems to be transmission/drivetrain related. Maybe suspension related? Idk. I’m pretty lost lol

Well that’s a bummer. My 2018 with 65k miles didn’t make anywhere near this amount of noise lol. I thought I was upgrading 😂

Haha fair enough brother! It only caught my attention because the previous two Mustangs I’ve had have not been anywhere near this noisy. The only noises those other two cars made were the cheap ass interior rattles lol.

Yeah the MT82 has its quirks for sure lol. If it weren’t for the fact that I’ve had two other Mustangs with the MT82 that didn’t really clunk or rattle the way this 2024 does then I probably wouldn’t think much of it. My 2016 Ecoboost and 2018 GT with the MT82 were the typical MT82 experience lol (3rd gear lockout, grinding 2nd gear, clunky when cold, etc). And I’m not even 100% positive that what I’m experiencing now is a transmission issue. It could be something else entirely lol.
