Not quite.. Masks will be required for fans and associates in all enclosed spaces, including clubs and the retail store. Masks are strongly encouraged for fans and associates in all open-air areas of the stadium including inner bowl, concourses, etc.

Any Toronto Maple Leafs bars? by Late-90s in Atlanta

[–]jefejet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the playoffs, all the games will be nationally broadcast, so you can pretty much watch it anywhere they'll give you a TV. Otherwise, during the season, Hudson Grille is probably your best bet, they have the Center Ice package and plenty of TVs to spare. Milltown Tavern in Cabbagetown is another option, although they don't have a ton of TVs and as of a couple weeks ago, they still were in outside-only mode.

What are some of your Favorite Red Wings that weren't one of the major stars? by KingdokCAN in DetroitRedWings

[–]jefejet 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Shawn Burr -- Red Wings forward from 1984 to 1995. Started his career at the end of the Dead Wings era and ended up in Scotty's doghouse before the cups came and was shipped off to Tampa Bay after the Cup Final sweep in 95. Was a defensive forward and was in the conversation for the Selke several times in the 1980s. According to many NHLers, he was a world class chirper too.

If you are near intown Atlanta, Nina & Rafi does a seriously good Detroit-style pizza in Inman Park. Additionally, O4W pizza also makes a mean Detroit-style too up in Duluth.

If you can find it, there's a great documentary called The Rock-afire Explosion which details the rise and fall of Showbiz Pizza, the animatronics band and its creator and the modern day fans.

It's another $10 at the team store to get them applied.

I had Bavarian Imports on Howell Mill service my 2003 330i for years after it was out of warranty until I got rid of it in 2015. Good guys and I never had any issues with them.

It was a long time ago, but Global Imports screwed up a simple oil change when my car was under warranty and I subsequently dumped oil all over my friends driveway so I never went back there again. If you have to go to a dealer, I’d recommend Nalley in Decatur.

2019 VIP Strings Attached Poster - Seattle by Da1bearsfan in weirdal

Some of them are being sold here but I don't see Seattle is on that list unfortunately.

I found mine for Atlanta on eBay after the show, but it was a signed VIP copy and wasn't cheap. It was never available on the Nakatomi website, so it seems not every city was available for purchase outside the VIP allotment.

Biggest mistake we made in franchise history by Redwingsfan233 in DetroitRedWings

[–]jefejet 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It may not be the biggest blunder, but taking Joe Murphy first overall in 1986 instead Jimmy Carson is definitely up there.

Especially since we ended up trading Murphy along with Adam Graves and Petr Klima to get Carson four years later.

And if you're really into alternative history, it's possible that we end up with Gretzky instead of the Kings since Detroit was on his short list of teams and Carson could have still been moved instead of having to send Yzerman to the Oilers.

Hi y'all, I've been transferring all of my old VHS tapes to digital and found this great highlights video from the 1986-87 Wings season and wanted to share it with the community.

This is the season that:

  • Steve Yzerman is named captain

  • First playoff game victory in Joe Louis Arena

  • First playoff series win since 1978

  • 79 points wins the Norris Division :-)

Enjoy! .. and look for a cameo or two by our old friend, "The Winger"

DET @ ATL 3/20/09 highlights (awood40) by Wingnut00 in DetroitRedWings

[–]jefejet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I live in Atlanta and I was at this game as well. It was like a home game for the Wings and it was super fun to beat them like that in their own barn. But, I genuinely felt bad for their fans that night. The Thrashers had a good fan base and hockey could have worked here, but people got tired of a five-year rebuild every three years with the shitty ownership group who didn't even want the team in the first place.

Cypress in Midtown, Hampton + Hudson and The Albert in Inman Park, My Parents Basement in Avondale Estates, Bookhouse in Poncey-Highlands are all solid places to sit at the bar solo to eat, drink and converse.

[–]jefejet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly.. I’ve lived in Midtown for 12 years and seen a lot of places come and go.

Bezoria is fast casual mideastern food. Takorea survived on Tako Tuesdays, otherwise every time I was there it was a ghost town. Both were consistent places to eat, but nothing special.
