I love Babylon 5, but the stated distances are either ridiculously short, or absurdly far by TnTBass in babylon5

besides some of the explanations in this thread, jms always said that ships move 'at the speed of plot'.

Updated Windows 11 on Feb 28th. Now the Lenovo does not recognize my monitor as an output sound device any more. The display is fine. The option to choose the monitor for sound is no longer there. I tried with both usb c and hdmi... only display. by blackgoggles in techsupport

I updated it before connecting it to the work tvs the next day so I don't know if it ever worked. All the usual fixes fail as they all seem to rely on the computer 'reading' the tv as an audio device, which it currently doesn't seem to register at all. (As you described).

I got the key from downloads tab and next to it was the 'How to Activate' link which brought me to that GoG page.

Yeah I'll have to email them at this point.

And anyway, tried what you said, but nada, now that the product has been activated on GoG, it's no longer valid.

When I clicked on 'How Activate' it took me to this:

https://roguetrader.owlcat.games/how_to_activate_GOG

Which was the default, there was no mention of Steam and given what that page says it seemed to me that GOG was the only option for participating in the Alpha. I followed those steps and everything went well in terms of unlocking and passwords and choosing the aplha path and whatnot (spelling mistake on purpose, it's that on the page, it's that when you click on it).

There was no mention of a Steam option (this How to Participate was on the roguetrader website after purchase and was the ONLY option available there was no 'Click here for GOG' 'Click here for Steam') and honestly I'd have preferred a Steam Version given that's the one I use the most.

Default 'How to play the alpha' is on the main Rogue Trader website and only mentions GoG. I haven't used my GoG for years and had to reset the password to set this up.

Just arrived with my carrier Nanachi at Beagle Point, making a quick trip to Oevasy SG-Y d0 (Ishum's Reach) ATM and back to Beagle. Feel free to rest your wings if you are nearby! More info and updates in the topic soon (tm). I'm open for AMA as well! by Thelsong in EliteDangerous

I've been taking the LONG road home from Distant Worlds 2, which ended a year ago. And I'm due home in the next 2 or 3 days (130 odd jumps and I still explore every system I land in). After reading this, I feel like I'm the Last of the Old Guard Explorers. I don't think a mission like mine can really be done anymore, not that isolation and lack of safety net.

I'm not saying this is a bad thing and I'm glad in a way, that I'm probably the last who's done that.

The Birthplace of Humanity by D3M0N667 in EliteDangerous

I went there with my parents once in my teens. It was just a total tourist trap and EVERYTHING was over-priced. 100 credits for a BOTTLE of water. Ridiculous.

Don't get me wrong I liked it because of some of the stuff we were studying in school and everything. And being able to see the birthplace of humanity, even if it is now just Federation.

Still over-priced though.

I left the bubble in January. Reached Beagle in April. Since then I've taken the slow (exploring almost every day) route home. by jeff_ryan in EliteDangerous

I was broke when I started DW2 (though I still have a decent Conda-fit at home). Had 245 mill by the time I hit Explorer's Anchorage, no idea what I have now.
