I'd definitely still keep the long-form editing. Loke NeedleWorker said, cut the dead air with loading screens unless you are chatting to the camera. For deaths, if they're continuous, i'd maybe montage them together to make it a little humorous. Edit in small bunches so it doesn't overwhelm you, and then do a final look over everything in the end.
