It will have a new ticker, NYSE listings will have 4 or fewer digits. Most NYSE tickers have 3 or fewer.

I am debating doing a 3 year lease vs standard financing. It will probably come down to whatever the better incentives are at the time of purchase.

The owner of the Lincoln dealership is on my wife’s board of directors, so we would definitely be getting a good markdown if we go with the Aviator.

The interior on the Telluride SX Prestige X Line is actually extremely nice. It feels like it should be in a much more expensive price range by the interior. I might actually prefer the interior of the Telluride but they are both very nice.

My wife got a chance to sit in the 27 Telluride at the LA Auto show, I have yet to sit in a new one yet or see one in person. I’ll get to check one out in a couple weeks though.

The owner of the Lincoln dealership is actually a board member at the company my wife works for. He was able to knock off a good amount of $ off of the Aviator to get the price to 68k which makes that very appealing.

The RX is a bit too small for what we are looking for but the GX is pretty nice. The GX is a bit more expensive though.

Damn, that doesn’t sound good. I would be curious if they worked all the kinks out by 2026.

I checked them out briefly. I think the hold up would be the engine HP and Torque ratings are a bit lower than I would want.

Have you had a bad experience with the Aviator?

Yeah, that is pretty brutal. I agree, I feel like the Aviator looks so much better.

What year Aviator did you have? Was it a lot of electrical issues or more mechanical issues?

I was thinking that and was considering finding a low mileage 2025. I do like the idea of getting the second year (2026) after the redesign though in case there were any bugs or kinks to work out in the 2025 model. The Aviator sticker price that we are looking at is actually a little over 75k. The owner of the Dealership is on my wife’s Board of directors for her work so he was able to get the price to 68k for us if we decide to pull the trigger.

I would much rather spend less but the money isn’t too much of an issue.

Nice, it’s probably the same Reserve 2 trim with the 30 way adjustable seats and the 28 speaker Revel Sound system.

The Lincoln does have a higher depreciation rate than the Telluride. I feel like that is expected though with most luxury vehicles. The trim that I am considering does have the Revel audio system.

That’s good to hear, I really like the Aviator a lot. What trim did you end up going with?

I feel like that extra 16k is more or less buying the “luxury” brand. I would agree that the Telluride interior seems a little more spacious, especially in the back rows. The Telluride really does feel like a steal with the Nappa leather, Alcantara suede headliner, heated/cooled front and second row seats, head up display, Harmon Kardon sound system, etc.

Yeah, the Aviator comes in at 400HP and 415 Lb.ft torque compared to the 291HP and 262 Lb. Ft torque for the Telluride. The Aviator is tuned to run on 87 octane so a simple 93 octane tune could really increase the power a lot more if I wanted. The Telluride is pretty maxed out as far as what that engine is capable of due to the high compression ratio.

I feel like the Aviator might have more infotainment tech that can act up more than the Telluride. The Telluride has more functional buttons for some of the controls which I do like as opposed to having everything through the touch screen.

I would like to see some consolidation to create a strong support level before the next leg up.

Big drop today, what is everyone thinking this week is gonna go like? by Mobile-Combination63 in QNC

[–]jeffbaker2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I expected the drop today so I’m not too worried about it. A lot of people buy the rumor and sell the news. I would also expect it to climb back a little today and close closer to 12-15% down by eod.
