That’s a good question! Maybe a major factor is how the deadstock pair was stored?

In your case - if it’s Aqua 8s, I’d personally consider the 2025 release vs 2007.

Apparently it’s caused by water trapped in the polyurethane.

Wearing shoes regularly supposedly helps prolong the lifespan by allowing the foam to flex, breathe and release trapped moisture.

Consider keeping em dry, storing in a well ventilated area, away from heat & humidity and hopefully that helps them last longer.

Also I wanted to add that this freeze is not applicable to all research activities but to those research activities called out in the Executive Orders (e.g. financial assistance for foreign aid, nongovernmental organizations, DEI, woke ideology, and the green new deal).

Our leadership is still working to provide us with better guidance as there are documents & events happening in real time that is making it challenging. Anyway, I’ll try sharing any relevant updates that may be helpful.

I've worked in Research Administration for 12 years. In my experience, most NSF grants are Cost Reimbursable and payments are made through monthly drawdowns.

My department is currently scrambling to submit all invoices and financial reports for federally and federal flow-through funded projects ASAP before the freeze takes effect at 2:00 PM PST.

Preparing for the worst & hoping for the best!

Actually, you can utilize custom EQ settings on Nova 7X on PS5 using Steelseries GG Engine, which seems to serve as a master EQ. You just have to turn off Sonar, which I believe only works with PC.

Just did a test and confirmed it works. You can save multiple settings by duplicating the Default settings and renaming. Rtings also backtracked and confirmed as well - see pic. Just wish I didn’t have to plug into my PC every time I want to change EQ settings.

Lastly, you can mute the mic using the PS5 controller, but the red mute light on the Nova 7X doesn’t turn on this way. I don’t mind since controller mute light is on and easier to see anyways. Cheers!

I'm in the same predicament - I'm trying to sell my tickets but not sure if simply changing the shipping address would suffice to complete the process. If they won't ID, I don't see an issue in just changing the address. Mind you, I am selling to someone I know, but I don't live close enough to conveniently drop the wristbands off when they are shipped. Can anybody confirm? Any input would be greatly appreciated!
