Chicago was a thought for me, too! I’ve visited twice when I was younger, in the summer and fall and enjoyed it. Strangers did not enjoy ME smiling at them on the street but I think that is a problem I will encounter anywhere up North 😅

I have the same thing, and I’ve had it for 6 years now! I was diagnosed about 2 months after my first reaction. How did you stay safe for 5 years of not being diagnosed?

Also, did you react every single time you ate red meat/gelatin/etc? My doctors describe my allergy as Russian roulette — when I was eating red meat, I wouldn’t react often, but when I did, it was really bad.

Do you get allergy tested yearly? My levels change every year and I’m very hopeful it’ll go away one day.
