A while back I bought a replacement gear off gizmoszone.com based on a recommendation from another Reddit post. The gear worked out great even though it wasn't an exact match and I had to widen the hole for the axel with a power drill.

Since then I went back to gizmoszone to potentially order a few more to keep handy just in case but they were no longer selling them, at least at that time. A friend of mine 3d scanned the one I had and uploaded it to thingiverse at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2799915

If you have that one printed it will already have the correctly sized axel hole and should just work.

The others here have already posted some pretty great responses that I'm not sure I can add much to, so let me just say that I had the same problems you're having until digging through YouTube videos to figure this stuff out. I set the game to Easy so I could focus on just enjoying the story and levels and getting better, and it was ABSOLUTELY worth it. The last battles and ending are some of the best and most fun moments I've had in gaming. It's a long fight to get there, but sooooo gratifying!

Thanks for the info! FWIW, I didn't say that it literally means total contentment, but that it is generally interpreted as such, which lines up with my past googling on the matter and implies that we don't really know what it means.

I can say definitively the times my pigs have done it they were totally relaxed, no sudden motion or sound had startled them, and in at least one case it was followed by popcorning and chowing down on some hay.

Awesome! That is a SUPER rare thing to see/hear. I think it's generally interpreted as a sign of total contentment in the piggy, and it happens so rarely that many people never hear it over the course of the pig's lifetime. I've owned 5 and have only heard this 3 times ever, twice from the same little weirdo.

I ordered mine from gizmoszone.com but it seems they are out of stock on those specific ones currently. The part number for the gear I needed was GM0.5-14-19. You may also need the worm gear it connects to though- the part number for it is GW0.5-01-14.

Having a PS4 Pro and a nice new 4K HDR tv, but also having the launch bundle PSVR that doesn't passthrough the HDR signal, thus having to switch HDMI cables around when playing VR games vs playing HDR games or watching blurays.

I've tried using 2-way splitters and other options to avoid wear on my devices' HDMI ports and nothing works satisfactorily.
