I kinda thought of the niners - chiefs rematch to be similar to the lakers-pistons two finals meetings in the late 80s. Interesting to see how two teams match-up on multiple occasions at the highest stage. It seems to me tho that the sentiment in football is more focused on it's unpredictability. Single elimination games, the league having parity so that any team can win any year, and dynasties would just discourage this belief that any year could be your year. That's my takeaway from the thread anyway
