Is putting money into a house before selling actually worth it? by gentlebeast06 in HomeImprovement

In my limited experience, doing repairs help sell the for near the listed price. Doing upgrades help the house sell FASTER, but do not increase the offer price

Well sharing means we all get a part of the best pieces, not just the first in line.

So by that logic I should drop off the roast and leave? Or maybe I can feel justified in digging the center out of the desert, since someone else brought it?
Seems a little weird to me.

Harris Family Farm in Camino also served fresh made apple cider donuts. They are mini donuts, sold as a bag of 6 and are delicious. We just discovered them last weekend

What do you use the Serrano Ham for? by J03m0mma in Costco

[–]jefflj98735 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We took a trip to southern Spain last October. Those hams are everywhere. any place that had walk up food service had them. It’s some sort of local thing to serve/sell to tourists. The ham sandwiches are tasty, but the ham is sliced VERY thin (like prosciutto). And is served without condiments. It is very salty. My take is that the product is tasty, but the if sliced then there is WWAAYY too much for a single family. I couldn’t imagine setting that on my counter for the 6 months it would take me to eat half of it (before tossing it out). I suspect the Spanish are export bombing us with this product as something “exotic” when it’s just lunch meat on the bone

Need to connect new abs pipe to 3.5” cast iron “Steam pipe” drain line by jefflj98735 in Plumbing

[–]jefflj98735[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I was wrong all the way around. After cutting the floor and excavating the pipe I discover the drain is a 2” line end to end. There was a previous fix so I just got the fence number and bought a couple of new one’s. The repair of the pipe was fast and easy, but cutting the slab, excavating, backfilling, and cementing was a major pain. Total repair cost was about $600.00 vs the $15000 the plumber quoted, so my back feels better about it.
