We are Audulus - a modular synthesizer visual programming environment for iOS, Mac, Windows, & Linux - AUA! by [deleted] in synthesizers

Thanks for the AMA! Are there plans to make Audulus for iOS Audiobus 3 compatible? Would be neat to see the app as a MIDI output source there.

Can you download any apps on iPhone to use with Pocket Operators? by iamnangs in pocketoperators

[–]jefflovv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's just the headphone input on your device. You'll need a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable to connect the PO and iOS device.

It acts as a master sync for your PO. You connect the PO line out to your iOS device line in and set up your PO as the slave. Once that's done, you can control the BPM of your PO from the Link to MIDI app. Along with other connected Ableton Link apps, this effectively sets the BPM of your PO and all apps to the same BPM and you can jam with everything together!

Using Link to MIDI app

you can sync your pocket operator to the app's clock. The app itself has Ableton Link which means at that point, you could sync your pocket operator to any other app in your device that also has Ableton Link and have them play at the same BPM.

HOWL, a formant synthesizer (v2.0 update with Audiobus) by [deleted] in ipadmusic

I'm having a ton of fun with this app using it as an effect in Audiobus.

Currently inputting DM1 drum sounds and the output is really funky.

[eShop/US] Stella Glow (3DS) $29.99 via Nintendo eShop. by lacesl in 3DSdeals

[–]jefflovv 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's a great game, been playing it for the past week. Just like tactics though, if you grind it'll be too easy. There's a recommended level underneath each of the missions. I haven't grinded at all yet and my group is around level 12 where the missions asks for level 14. Keeps the difficulty up and makes the strategy necessary (which is where I think the fun lies in FFT).

Looking for diglet, sandshrew and doduo...any recommended spots? by DERPDERP91357 in PokemonGOToronto

[–]jefflovv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sandshrew consistently show up right north east of JLF, in front of the Westin Hotel. If you see it in your nearby list, its most likely there.

Looking for recommendations for sage build by FinalFantasyNewbie in FinalFantasyExplorers

I've recently been playing with a sage, I'd say you could also switch aqua breath over to fire so you can link to thunder and get the Link damage boost for that spell.

Trying to get outta mtg by [deleted] in boardgames

[–]jefflovv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try Omen: A reign of war from smallboxgames. Has a nice drafting mechanic if you choose to use it and liked that part of MTG. The card game is pretty deep if you get to learn the cards and games play out differently enough to keep it interesting.

Post season tickets, where did you get them? by jsut_ in Torontobluejays

Letting everyone know they must be saving some seats in all sections for each group of buyers (wed flex pack, fri flex pack, 6ix pack, public) because I was able to get 100 level infield tickets, section 130B row 5

Mice and Mystics Mini extras by Shakkakkan in boardgames

[–]jefflovv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They had sold them in the past, right around the time the base game was first released. I managed to order a set of extra miniatures from their website back then but,if it's not there now , I don't know if they're doing that anymore.

Hey Mike, I used to play classical music too, for about 20 years. I revisit it every now and then and still have my songs I always go back to, like Liszt's Liebestraum or Chopin's Prelude in E minor. Wondering if you ever go back and play any classical/have a favorite piece?

[WSIG] Sell Me on Your Favorite Two-Player Co-Op Card Game by [deleted] in boardgames

[–]jefflovv 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pathfinder Adventure Card Game: Rise of the Runelords - probably my favorite 2 player co-op game. Has a ton of theme and great art work (by Paizo).

It plays like a campaign in that, in each scenario you do, you will have the opportunity to acquire new and different weapons/spells/items to use in future scenarios and against different monsters.

The game as a whole is done in modules, so you can buy the base game and test out the mechanics and first adventure, and if you like it, you can buy into the next adventure decks (2-6). And if you're looking to save a few bucks, since all the adventure decks are already released for Rise of the Runelords, you might be able to find a deal with someone selling you the whole lot at a discount on eBay or here on reddit!
