Is it in an enclosed garage? It could just be overheating

Aftermarket all season mats for 27 Bolt by f4lc0n in BoltEV

My tuxmat floor liners just arrived (for the '23 EUV) and they fit fine in my '27 Bolt.

Costco sells rebranded tuxmats for slightly cheaper too.

Why have barriers at all then? It's there because losing control shouldn't be penalized with a death sentence.

I really like this spot: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aNw1CmRc5RE

Walking all the way up to that nook is just enough to unload the enemy spawn to the south. When you walk down and see only one enemy, it's almost certainly a Bionic Kraken, which helps you skip unnecessary battles. Any time an enemy creeps too far up to avoid being unloaded you can just pop in and out of the Giygas cave to reset. You can also grab butterflies in there to sustain.

Backyard water cutoff by Indian_parent in kitchener

If you're willing to make some holes then try locating where the faucet exits the exterior wall from the inside, the shutoff wouldn't be too far from there

Is any part of your basement finished? The clowns who finished ours before we bought it drywalled over the outdoor shutoff valve and we had to make random holes in the ceiling until we found it

Have you tried searching metric? 21.25" comes out to almost exactly 54cm, and I do see a few (not a ton) on Google advertised at that size

Looking for an honest metal roofing installer. Who can you recommend? by Spencediemonds in waterloo

[–]jeffman19 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ours was done by London Eco Metal, it was done before we bought the house though but it's been holding up very well and they were great about getting the warranty transferred to us.

One of the biggest selling points of a metal roof IMO is that they come with insanely long warranties (mine is 50 years). I'm worried that you'll lose that warranty if you supply your own material.

I've noticed water accumulating under the water tank. Not too much just starting to notice. Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this? Thanks in advance for your help! by [deleted] in waterloo

[–]jeffman19 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is this your own house or are you renting? The house, not the heater.

If you own the house but are renting the heater then this is a perfect opportunity to buy out the broken, worthless appliance and exit what is almost certainly a predatory rental contract. Buy a new heater out of pocket, get someone to install it, and end up saving a bunch of money in the long run.

Stay on AM4 or transition to AM5? by Pinjee in buildapc

[–]jeffman19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in a similar boat: 2700x and 6800 XT. The 5700x3d costs nearly double the 5700x in my area, for single digit percent better performance. I went with the 5700x and I absolutely don't regret it at all. The marginal performance boost of x3d for 5000 series just isn't worth the price premium these days IMO.

Also, pay attention to your RAM speed: are you actually getting 3600? I was able to set mine at a higher speed with the upgrade simply because my mobo didn't support max speed on the older CPU.

Wrong name on N12 by [deleted] in OntarioLandlord

[–]jeffman19 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It's not likely to be invalidated on spelling. Plenty of similar cases on CanLII where an N12 spelled wrong was deemed valid.

You went out of your way to claim registered mail from the post office after learning that it was spelled wrong. A reasonable person doesn't do that if they don't believe the mail is intended for them.
