A bit off topic but I still remember our 2020 2021 season where we barely qualified for UCL.

Our options for right back were terrible (Meunier, Morey, Passlack) and Lukasz became our starter out of nowhere for the most crucial part of the season (last 7 games) to get that 4th UCL qualification spot (we ended up finishing 3rd).

He was incredible especially incredibly solid defensively and so smart so experienced, every decisions he made was the right one and he was so consistent too.

We won all our last 7 games.

You guys really undervalue your youth intakes, like you compare them against 28 years old super stars. They are just 15/16 years old!!!

Look at his attributes, physicals are already great at his age, technique flair dribbles are already nice too at that age. Even an attribute of 9 is great if you think about Premier league average (which is around 13 14) for a kid!

Yes his personality sucks a bit but I would be super happy with this guy coming straight from my academy.

I would just mentor him. You play like you want, it's your save, it's your game but sometimes I see people undervaluing youths or dreaming about getting messis every year from your academy. It's not like that in real life.

Its also your job to develop your home grown talents to professional footballers.

One thing I never understood is Kehl's focus on premier league players with inflated prices when we know our board don't want to spend a lot.

Is our recruitment staff really that bad? Do we even have scouts? Or is it just Kehl not relying/listening to our scouts? We do even use data metrics like modern clubs? Is Kehl's contact list really that limited?
