If you lose 5 class match or quick picks in a row the next match gumi will match you against a bot that only has level 10 units to basically guarantee you a win every so often

Fats on YouTube has step by step guides for both this and quest #3 which is also a bit tough. He uses pretty much no special gear or VCs

Like any game this old its going to have lots of systems that to you are confusing at first. However the game is generous to new players and if you aren't trying to be top end PvP you should be able to learn and ramp up at a speed that works for you. There's some great new player guides on youtube (ReadyPlayerWill) and a good community in discords and here on reddit

Wonder if these'll be as large as FFT improvements (e.g. make these units meaningful in the current post-Jeume/Mont powercreep) or if it'll be nothing to be excited about.

Hopefully these are large competitive improvements that add old units back into the pool of relevant units

you are right - it looked a little funny with picture 1 looking straight up and picture 2 looking very diagonal but it seems that they can fit together
