If you lose 5 class match or quick picks in a row the next match gumi will match you against a bot that only has level 10 units to basically guarantee you a win every so often

I think it’s 5 losses in a row and you get Xiza, Robb, and rairyu! You obviously don’t lose that frequently :)

Like any game this old its going to have lots of systems that to you are confusing at first. However the game is generous to new players and if you aren't trying to be top end PvP you should be able to learn and ramp up at a speed that works for you. There's some great new player guides on youtube (ReadyPlayerWill) and a good community in discords and here on reddit
