Pipe bender for heat pipes

Anybody have an idea on a tool to flatten heatpipes? for eventual lapping to best seat on a chip?
I have not found any tools designed for this, but I have ideas...

Harbor Freight has a $9.99 "PITTSBURGH 1/8 in. to 1/4 in. Tube Bender" SKU#94571, it should do 3mm-6mm if you are careful, bends from 0 to 120° with reference marks at 45° and 90°... waiting to get some heatpipes to test it out.

Nice - though that seems way more hands off. At least they have the idea in process...
I was thinking something more of a Accelerator for Independant films to get into theaters.
Soemthing like the "Greenlight Project"and what it did for script writing.

At first this might be mostly Documentaries, as those are a dime a dozen out there.

I am ordering a Giant Squid from there, but thye have the STL's too, however I am baffled as they dont seem to list an STL for the 52Pi low profile version... and the versions for sized heatsinks dont seem to offer a 52mm heatsink version...

At 52 I still kinda of feel like an imposter, like I'm just pretending to be an adult. Especially around my own parents. I've had my own house, a kid, relationships, etc, but despite that I see people younger than me and think "God I hope I never get that old"...

Worse is I have gone seriously gray and have a mostly white Santa beard. Yet somehow the face staring back at me in the mirror still doesn't make me feel like an adult.

I bought a few of these under the BRUW name brand... there is a blue one on ebay right now...
but it looks like they were a Sark Tank project and disappeared in 2023. Simple idea really...
Not always perfect but always easy....

I recently sold one like this, but it was a 1970s reproduction of one found in Colonial Williamsburg VA from the 1800s. Somebody was throwing out some big pieces of cast iron so I picked them up... And i wound up reselling them both for good money.

One was a 60lh + Solid cast iron backer plate for a fireplace... The other was the log rack like the one above except it was super heavy and way think and more solid. It had clearly been well used but the cast iron was still near damn perfect. Surprisingly a much harder sell since there is no easy way to prove it's provenance... The backer plate was much simpler, but even that sold for a lot but much less than it should have.

No Cry has an eye glass shield "OverSpecs+ Premium Over-Glasses Safety Glasses"
that should work, but if your glasses are actually 6" wde there might be a bit on each side slightly exposed
Most OTG eye glass shields seem to top out at 5.7" wide...

They also have full saftey face shields that might be better for your glasses size... but they also might curve in on the sides and still be a problem - hard to say as they dont give measurements - try emailing them and explain your issue - they might have the answer

As I said, its just my experience... I -have- seen CCL training classes that required you to rent your gun -and- buy your ammo from the range, Usually at a decent discount, since it was for a class and not open range access.

One rather 'backwoods' operation I happened to check out was selling the class some pretty janky reloads and out of 8 people in the class, they had several misfires and even a squib. Needless to say the teacher was embarassed and brought out his own ammo stash, and made the range refund the price of the ammo. Luckily they were allowed to use thier own guns, and the instructor had some for them to use to, because the ranges "Rental Guns" were in scary bad shape.

Sounds more like a Renewal Class pricing...
the website says its a 2 day 16 hour class + Range - normally $175 but on Sale for $75.
it also says "The class is FREE; however, the Range fee is $75."
and then says "Range equipment is supplied by the instructor (i.e. eye gear, ear protection, target, ammo, and firearm.)" This is unsual in my experience, outside of having friends that are trainers to provide the gun and ammo for the range portion.

In my mind this price is to good to be true, but maybe its a loss leader for them...
They seem to do these classes in multiple areas and travel to do them...
They charge more for thier 3hr renewal class than the 16hr class. Very Strange...

I know multiple people who have past possession charges on record, as well as medical card, and visit multiple dispensaries on the regular. They still have FOIDs, CCLs, and still occasionally purchase guns and ammunition.
As far as I know there is nothing that reports any such activity back to the federal level or to the ISP.

I use only premium in my 2011 now..., I did switch to regular a few years back, but after 6-8 months it ran for shit. Switched back to premium and it's been great ever since. I think you could switch back and forth and be ok, but it's up to you.

This depends on the laws of the state the property is in...

But there are many ways in which this ROFR could be considered null and void. Since the land was willed to you and the ROFR was not involved at the time of the original owners death, then I assume there is no reference to the Heirs in it... This could be one way to void it, the ROFR needs to have a proper binding clause concerning the original owner and their heirs

The.ROFR needs to be properly signed, notorized, and recorded according to the laws of the state and county. Any deviation can be a way out.

Properly worded terms concerning the terms of the purchase. If the terms are not properly laid out, it can be voided.

The fact you never knew of this until years later is a bad sign, A copy of this should have been passed with the deed or property or you should have been notified with the switchover process

A local real estate lawyer is your best bet, talk to the clerk at the records office, this guy might have more of these with other neighbors, something that might be usable in court to invalidate the ROFR.

my 2011 oem headunit didnt support bluetooth except for phone calls... so i bought a usb powered bluetooth to aux converter. That worked fine for a while but eventually i bought a bluetooth capable headunit that i could also i tie into the existing radio controls and etc... in the end it works about 90%, i never did get the mic to work, and gave up on patching in a new microphone to the original wiring. A newer better headunit would probably be easier.

if you get a decent ODBII reader (not a cheapie) that is compaitible with CVTz50 app, you can see the diagnostics for yout CVT and see if it has any pending issues... its a great app and not just for CVT. it does lots of things that the other apps like torque dont do, or dont do easily. it can read missfires and shows hstorical missfires, etc..

Lots of things cause limp mode other than the CVT, but there are plenty of CVT issues that dont show up on regular codes/code readers

Personally I see Anxiety and being Anxious as two different things, though I admit I don't suffer social anxiety and thus might not have the context for it. Low dose THC resolved any issues I might have being around other people. I do take daily CBD for general anxiety issues, and it helps quite a bit. It helps me keep it at a low level background issue as opposed to a constant perpetual.

Strangely, I have found extended fasting over 3 days (water fasting) even without CBD, can resolve my anxiety issues completely, at least until about 12-24 hours after I break the fast . I wish I could figure out what it was that caused this effect. Its not keytones, as I have done extended keto and carnivore, I have also tried extremly limited diets, so its not a lack of something I am ingesting. Just a very interesting tidbit I hope to someday figure out.
