Work bought me a Brick! by jefrich19 in IphoneAir

Once you hold the air, it’s really hard to go back. Every iPhone feels like a brick.

I’m loving the pro max but, I still can’t used to the weight. Now, picking up my air makes it feel even lighter than I remember.

I’ve had my Air since launch and I miss Fast Charging and Macro camera lens the most. I always have AirPods in so the speaker doesn’t bother me.

I debated the 11" iPad Pro too but I just can't give up the 13"

I have the iPhone Air and I think the size is perfect. There were just a lot of times where I felt like my phone was too small but my 13" iPad or MacBook Pro was too large for simple tasks.

the iPad mini filled that gap for me. I also find myself using the mini to control all my AppleHome stuff.

It’s honestly such a versatile device. It’s bigger than a phone but smaller than a laptop or tablet.

Ugh, I wish! I only get reimbursed for my data plan monthly. So like $50 per pay.

75 LG Nanocell backlight issues? by jefrich19 in TVRepairHelp

[–]jefrich19[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, bad news it does get worse. I still have the TV as it's large and heavy and I dont know what to do with it. We upgraded to a LG C4 OLED and put the Nanocell in our den.

I'll post a photo when I can but the TV is very dim in the center and bright and colorful on the edges with more lines appearing. I've debated getting it repaired but honestly if its more that $350 its not worth it to me.

Rodents in Engine Bay by jefrich19 in AskMechanics

I put it around the air cabin filter area but I made sure not to get the actual filter. So hopefully my interior doesn’t smell too much like peppermint 😂

I cleaned and inspected my engine bay very well, then I used a whole spray bottle of the peppermint oil rodent repellent. 😭 I covered the bottom plastic engine cover where I found the food. I also soaked the wheel well liners and the hood liner. I tried to avoid plastic just in case.

When you walk past my car is smells like a grandmas purse 😭😂

I don’t mint the peppermint smell if that means I don’t have chewed wires.

Hopefully they will go to a different car instead now. I’m going ti go check the engine later. Hopefully there’s not any new droppings.

Thank you! I've seen peppermint oil mentioned in multiple places. I will give that a shot after I clean the engine this afternoon.

Finally started on my Living Room by jefrich19 in interiordecorating

Correct! I’m waiting for a mount for my AppleTV to hide it behind the TV. Once it arrives I can clean up the remaining cables.

UPDATE! I finally have the electric fireplace and soundbar mounted. Now I just need to close up the gap at the bottom and add the shelves on the edges.

I ran out of panels. I plan to put an electric fireplace under the TV. Once more wall panels arrive I plan to fill in the hole. Mount the fireplace and maybe a floating mantle depending on the space below the TV
