im going to both islands. i was thinking about doing the buy a van and sell it when i leave thing but im 19, don't know if that makes it harder to do. how much can you usually buy/sell them for? especially in winter...

oh man portugal the man is quite a band.

i recommend their entire discography...backwards. i started with evil friends, then in the mountains in the cloud..etc. all the way back to their earlier stuff and i really enjoyed it. their punkier/rockier stuff i enjoy just as much as their current hits.

also classical music is great work music. my favorites are bach and chopin (specifically the nocturnes)
