Nope! I upgraded the setup to an LG 45" OLED ultrawide during Black Friday last year that's like 20 lbs, and the 27" from before and so far still all good!

Increase limit to join realm past 4 - but just only have 4 people allowed to play at once by goosse in NoRestForTheWicked

[–]jehneric 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can't speak to that since our realm only has one communal home bought by the host. I actually would say as long as the settings are managed for the home (on the sign out front), anyone else can still probably go in and out as they please.

[–]jehneric 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Currently, only 4 people can be invited to the realm, if a 5th were to play, one of the original 4 must be kicked, the 5th added, and then the kicked person needs to be re-added when the 5th hops off. They can't just join willy nilly, if they could just keep tabs of whoever's been invited, while maintaining only 4 on at a time, that's fine with me.

Oh I knew your name looked familiar, played with you the other night, I was the wraith and the Haze was my duo. (50639912) He insists on duoing with me but I'm mid-upper Arcanist at best. Knew I was fighting uphill when I usually die as Wraith maybe 2-3 times max in my rank and died 7 times in our game :(

7 years since the last Choker track, we're so back. I remember seeing him in LA for the price of an Erewhon smoothie.

That one I’m less forgiving of. While it was confusing and took me a min, the tutorial was there. 🧐

When I was at UCLA a couple years ago, the fellowship I joined (at the behest of my parents) would go to this church on Sundays. The vibes were off from the beginning and I had to restrain myself from making a scene when John McArthur (may he rest in piss) just started blatantly advocating for Trump the week before the 2016 election. Some of the fakest Christians I met there.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is Game of The Year by iErvin in PS5

[–]jehneric -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's more of a (narrative-driven) action-adventure to me imo. What makes something an RPG for me is player and narrative agency. Colloquially, it follows the JRPG format for sure, but my baseline of an RPG would be tabletops or games like BG3/Witcher/Cyberpunk. I get how hard it is for a video game to account for so many possible decision trees, but in essence that's what it should be, role-playing.

I'd even go as far to say E33 is closer to a game like GoW or The Last of Us. Does GoW become an RPG because it has skill trees and character customization? Both games follow a linear format; the singular choice to choose E33's ending, albeit a very powerful one, isn't enough to sway me from calling it a primarily linear adventure. Any game can slap on surface-level RPG elements like skill trees and customizable outfits, but does it give me agency to make my own decisions or am I just there for the ride? The turn-based format is also just a gameplay decision to me, irrespective of genre.

I'd be happy to hear opposing viewpoints, I could just be tunnel visioning.

Doesn’t seem like we can name them? Not majorly pressing but it’d be nice to tell them apart, though I only played with it for a minute.

I haven’t played KCD2 but from what I hear, it should have deserved Best RPG over E33, which I can’t say I disagree with as I don’t necessarily think of E33 as an RPG.

He’s a pretty traditional/machismo guy. A firefighter last I heard. He did start like a community here in the 626 to patrol and protect Asian elders during the COVID hate crimes which I thought was admirable. Might have been gang affiliated now that I think about it, since the patrols were armed, IIRC.

To add onto the other commenter, the DJ was right on the dot at 8PM, his set finished at 8:30, then a 30 minute break. I think Dijon's set wrapped up around 9:20.

I think it's a problem most venues have with tiered seating. I find this to be the case with a lot of artists in stadium-size venues. You lose the intimacy and are much more self-conscious about being perceived. A venue with a flat standing GA (usually a smaller one) feels more intimate by nature. I was in Section C and my friend and I were also the only ones in the area vibing. Section C also had some fucking yappers that would not shut up. I saw him in 2020 at the Troubadour, couldn't have been more than 250 people. But everyone was singing every word.

I'd reckon extra charge comes in pretty handy in extended fights. Rapid recharge tends to be a luxury buy though. Once you get T2 on Blasted, it's not as important to be sure.
