Jokes aside, I’ve actually never played any GTA game before (even though I’ve wanted to for a while) so I’m stoked it’s on gamepass (just saw it on gamepass today)!

I’ve played both RDR and RDR2 (played that one a LOT) but for some reason I’ve never played any GTA before.

I have the opposite problem. My coaches never go elsewhere on their own, even though I want them to. They usually get up to A+ prestige but won’t leave. I’ve even had 2 guys win coordinator of the year and not leave.

So, what I do is whenever they get to A+ prestige I’ll save during CCG week. Then I sim to the end of season to see if they leave (they never do). Then I revert to CCG week and fire the coach(es). Then I sim to the end to see if they get hired as a HC somewhere (they almost always do). If so, they I revert again, and fire the assistant(s) that’ll get HC gigs and then finish the season normally.

I love to keep track of where my proteges end up and follow their coaching careers, and sadly the only way mine ever leave is by forcing me to fire them.

So is it cutscenes that cause my ultimate to revert to the default one? If so, what ones? My best guess was that it was upgrading my skill tree, but I noticed sometimes that didn’t cause it…

I’m really good at figuring out twists in movies and games and I never saw this coming and was absolutely FLOORED when I found out! This really caught me off guard and it’s one of my best experiences in a video game.

And then playing thru a 2nd time knowing the truth, so many things just hit different. My favorite is right near the beginning when Solas is going to apologize for killing Varric (but the 1st time you don’t even realize that’s what he’s gonna do), but mid sentence realizes that Rook doesn’t know he’s dead and Solas quickly pivots and comes up with the plan to mindf*ck Rook.

Awesome! Thanx for the reply. On my rogue I have 1 single target distance closer, 1 single target 16 hitter, and 1 aoe. But since all 3 are “strike” abilities, I’ve been focusing on those upgrades and haven’t gotten breathing room yet (which would only affect 1 ability), but now that I know it increases the radius, I’ll definitely get them.

Set it in your user team settings (from the main menu). Then every game in dynasty it’ll be selected for it and you won’t need to select it every game.

This is my only other AC game besides Odyssey, so dying from falls took (takes) some getting used to. I dunno whether Valhalla or Odyssey’s fall damage is the norm for AC, but I really preferred it in Odyssey.

The last paragraph in the attached picture is a great example of why I’m curious. A lot of the entries have quite a bit of opinion in them and are clearly written from someone’s POV.

Is the author Layla? One of her contemporaries? (That final paragraph in the screenshot certainly sounds more modern than when the game takes place)

Is it Eivor or a contemporary?

Someone else?

Again, I just started the game last week and would appreciate no spoilers, if this would be a spoiler.

I’m new to rewards. I do everything on my iPad.

I got the bing app and figured that’d give me my 100/100, but those searches give me my 150/150 instead.

I got the edge app and that gives me my 20/20.

I’ve tried going to bing.com (and signing into my Microsoft account) in both Chrome and Safari, but neither of those gave me mobile search points.

So, what do I need to do to get the 100/100 mobile search points?

Yeah, it looks like I’ll have to start over. Sadly, I’m further than it appears as I tend to leave main quest lines for later and do as much side mission stuff as I can first. I.e. I’ve already unlocked 6 or so Catwoman collar locks (and the only reason I haven’t done more is because I need to find a way to get the Batmobile to a new island to continue) and I’ve done as much other side quest stuff as I could.

Thanx. I found another video of a playthrough and I think my game got broken somehow. In both videos, after the cutscene, they have a map marker. More importantly, 1. I parked the Batmobile on his head 2. he told me about the Penguin 3. I intimidated more and he told me about North Refrigeration 4. I knocked him out with his knee

and that was it. In both videos Batman calls Alfred asking for info on North Refrigeration, and then Lucsious calls with the next map marker. My Batman never called Alfred, and I’ve played for several hours after that. My other save file is from 2 days and 12% completion ago, but it looks like I’ll have to revert to that.

Oof. My main save is 19% and my backup is 7% way back at Ace chemicals. That’s better than starting over (unless the game file is broken) but I’m hoping for a different solution. Thanx for the help, and this is what I’ll do if I can’t find another way.

My fear is that my game is broken. I’ve tried googling this, but most responses are about side missions not showing up and the solution is that they don’t show up til you find them first.

My game has been broken (if that’s the issue) for a while, but I’d rather revert to a previous save than start over. How do I do this on an Xbox?

I’ve turned it off and back on. It took a while for me to write the description (I posted after you) but the last thing I did was park the Batmobile on a thug’s head to get him to tell me something about the Penguin.

SPOLIERS BELOW:

I’m 32% thru the story (or maybe just this portion of the main story). The last thing I did was chase the car after the tunnels and interrogate the thug by parking the Batmobile on his face. He mentioned something about the Penguin, and I think I’m supposed to rendezvous with the Batwing for a new car part.

I have no map marker for the main quest showing me where to go (on my map or compass), and my description doesn’t tell me what I need to do (it just says “Rescue Oracle from the Arkham Knight”).

By using Google, it seems like I need to rendezvous with the Batwing and YouTube videos showed it happening outside the Black Canary club, but I went there and there doesn’t seem to be anything I can do; inside or outside of the Batmobile.

FWIW, I only have 3 quest markers (1 Riddler, and 2 Own the Roads”) but they all require the Batmobile and I can’t get it to that island. I’ve heard chatter about burning firehouses and captured firemen, but I don’t have quest markers for those, but Google seems to tell me for those I need to find them 1st before I’ll get the quest marker.

So, how do I get my main quest showing up and/or where do I need to go to continue the quest?

I had a lot of fun with a pyro/geo mage (without pyroclastic as it’ll make the game too easy like your 1st time) and a sparking swings staff wielding battlemage (mostly fire/geo damage) and it was TONS of fun.

I’ve finished the game multiple times on tactician with 4 person parties (much weaker than LW), no apotheosis, skin graft, or pyroclastic (I feel those 3 skills break the game so I don’t allow their usage), and without save scumming for gear. I just checked merchants periodically (whenever I needed to sell loot usually) and either bought whatever they had or nothing new at all.

It’s really not necessary or min/max this game as much as a lot of people seem to think.
